"Movement has been my medicine, my passion, and now, my mission."

About Jeff Wadkins
For over 20 years, I dedicated my life to protecting others as a professional lifeguard—beginning in Santa Cruz and later serving as a Peace Officer lifeguard in Half Moon Bay. My journey started with a lifelong love for movement and sport, a passion that took me to Hawaii after high school, where I fell deeply in love with the ocean, surfing, and everything the water had to offer.

That love for the sea brought me back to Santa Cruz in 2003, where I found my calling in public service. As a lifeguard, I eventually became a leader in the Half Moon Bay community—training seasonal guards and building a vibrant Junior Lifeguard program that gave my work deeper meaning and impact.

But the path hasn’t always been easy. After sustaining a serious low back injury, I turned to movement and physical training not only to recover, but to reconnect with what had always grounded me—staying active. Through this process, I discovered something powerful: movement is not just healing—it’s transformational.

In 2024, I officially retired from lifeguard service, but my drive to serve others remained strong. Personal training became a natural next step. Today, I help people move better, feel stronger, and live more fully—providing safe, supportive, and personalized guidance every step of the way.
